Are you in the spin cycle or the success cycle?
Jun 21, 2022Do you ever feel like you are going round and round and never getting anywhere? Well, it's time to get out of the spin cycle and into the success cycle.
The first step towards success is to believe. Believe that you deserve it and can have it. You cannot behave like what you don’t believe.
If you don’t believe you can achieve it, then you most likely won’t try it. Focus on your past successes. I’m sure there was once a time when you thought you could not do something, like learning to swim or learning to French braid. But you didn’t give up and now you can do it. Starting or growing your business is no different. The mind believes what you tell it, so tell yourself that you can do this.
The next step is to take action. Newton’s First Law states that an object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest.
Start making moves towards accomplishing your goals. Sure, there may be some bumps along the way, but that comes from doing anything new. Zig Zigar said, “You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” It makes sense to me. What about you?
Once you believe you can and take action then you will start to see results. Celebrate small victories. Small wins will increase your confidence, leading you to take even more actions. Before you know it, you’ll be sailing right along and wonder what took you so long to get started. So don’t waste another day, another moment wondering “What if?” Get out there, make things happen, and start living your dream.
